ADVOCACY

A key advantage of being a REALTOR® is having strong legislative backing at the local, state, and national levels—an essential yet often unseen benefit that empowers both you and your clients to have a significant influence on matters related to homeownership.

The REALTOR® Party is a powerful alliance of REALTORs® and REALTOR® Associations working to protect and promote home ownership and property investment. The REALTOR® Party speaks with one voice to advance candidates and public policies that build healthy communities and support a vibrant business environment.

The Washington Report provides comprehensive coverage of legislative and regulatory policy developments. It is prepared by the NAR Advocacy Group and undergoes continuous updates to ensure accuracy and relevance.

To learn about key state issues, see CTR’s 2025–2026 Public Policy Statement.
