Principles & Practices In Real Estate (Salesperson)

“Principles & Practices” is required by the State of Connecticut in order to become a real estate salesperson. This course represents the first step in your real estate career. It will introduce you to the fundamentals of real estate – giving you a clear overview of this exciting business. This course will include brokerage, listing agreements, and buyer/seller representation; various forms of ownership of real estate; legal descriptions, taxes, contracts, liens, and the transferring title. You will also become acquainted with aspects of real estate appraisal, finance, property management, and real estate law.  You must be at least 18 years of age to become licensed in the State of Connecticut. 

 
15-Hour Courses  
Real Estate Legal Compliance
This course will review many of the major CT Real Estate Regulations and CT General Statutes a Broker needs to understand and follow in the course of their daily real estate practice and real estate business. Detailed explanations, interpretations, and tips are provided to help attendees understand the complex language and concepts of Connecticut real estate law.
