Welcome to The Northern Fairfield County

 Association of REALTORS®

“Your Success is Core to Our Business”

NFCAR is a 501 (c)(6) organization made up of more than 700 REALTOR and affiliate members covering Northern Fairfield and Lower Litchfield counties ready to serve buyers, sellers and the public.

Thanks to volunteer leadership, committee members, and staff, NFCAR helps Realtors® so Realtors® can help their customers and clients.

The purpose of the Northern Fairfield County Association of REALTORS®, Inc. is to serve its members by providing programs and services that will enhance their competency, professionalism, and productivity; to promote and enforce ethical standards; advocate for real estate issues, and enhance the REALTOR® image.

Our Vision is for our members to achieve a higher level of professionalism by encouraging them to have a more active role within the association.

Our goal is to be a resource center for our members and the community they serve. We want to become more involved within the community, informing the public of our services in conjunction with providing value to the community and helping to establish Northern Fairfield County as an attractive, sought after community in which to live.

As part of our pledge to ensure our member Realtors are the best, NFCAR operates the Northern Fairfield County Real Estate School.

Our instructors are industry experts. They provide excellent instruction in residential and commercial real estate.

Because we know a Realtor’s life is busy and mobile, we offer live and online classes for Licensing and Continuing Education.

NFCAR and our Realtor® members can only be as strong as the communities we serve. We put a high value on giving back to our community through philanthropy and community outreach.  NFCAR has donated thousands of dollars to charities such as Ability Beyond Disability, Habitat for Humanity, The Wounded Warrior Project, Regional Hospice, and many others.

One of the most important benefits of membership in NFCAR is intangible, but it’s vital to your career as a Realtor. Our legislative advocacy on local, state and national levels gives you and your clients a strong voice on issues affecting home ownership

The REALTOR® Party is a powerful alliance of REALTORS® and REALTOR® Associations working to protect and promote home ownership and property investment. The REALTOR® Party speaks with one voice to advance candidates and public policies that build healthy communities and promote a vibrant business environment.

In providing these services, we accomplish certain objectives, such as:

  • Promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct in the real estate profession as expressed in the REALTOR Code of Ethics.
  • Uniting those engaged in the recognized branches of the real estate profession to exert a beneficial influence upon the profession and related interests.
  • To further the interests of home and other real property ownership.
  • To provide a unified medium for real estate owners and those engaged in the real estate profession whereby their interests may be safeguarded and advanced.
