In 1995 New Milford Hospital developed a formal affiliation with Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. We maintain our identity, autonomy, local perspective and tradition of responsiveness to area communities with this affiliation while further enhancing our clinical programs.
In 1997 we also affiliated with the New Milford Visiting Nurse Association, which became a subsidiary of the New Milford Hospital Holding Corporation. This relationship enables us to provide a continuity of patient care from before admission, through your hospital stay and home again.
Elements in Progressive Patient Care are: Intensive Coronary Care Unit, Special Care Unit, General Medical-Surgical, Maternity, Pediatric, and Isolation. Other facilities include equipment for electro-cardiograms, stress testing, electro-encephalographs, radiology and nuclear medicine, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy.
